Aloft College Station

Very accommodating staff and clean hotel. Lobby and rooms are trendy and functional. I would come back.

Very basic, no frills hotel with an extremely comfortable bed. A nice perk is the lobby bar open in the evenings and there is a pool table and seating area in the lobby for use at any time. It was what we needed it to be for the weekend: a place to shower and sleep.

I am here for only 24 hours so a comfortable bed and location are important to me. The lobby is equipped with games, ping-pong, and pool table! Small swimming pool with a nice seating area. The bathroom could use some improvement. This place will be a great place for families that travel with teens.

This Aloft location is okay. It is very beautiful outside and in the lobby, and the rooms are nice but I personally think they should update them. They are not exactly the same as the photos, as if the pictures are just old. We didn't like the placement of the AC (it's under the desk,) or the way there were 2 desks but only one chair. There was also no microwave in the room and breakfast does cost money. It was good though. The store is 24 hours and the bar is open 5pm-midnight (it looked pretty dead though.) Theres a pool and nice seating/smoking area outside as well as a pretty fountain out front. Most of the staff were friendly. we booked with points, so it was alright, but I personally wouldn't pay their high nightly rates. The on site laundry is absurdly priced ($3 to wash, $3.50 to dry.) There are better spots with lower prices.

Really polite staff, quiet hotel, and a hot shower... so 3 big points in my book! Will definitely stay again!

All the thing they sell they don’t take care of the members here anymore but they will sell you overpriced breakfast sandwiches. This place looks and smells great but all items are over priced by 3x this is an out rage. $9 for a sandwich you can buy for $2 at a gas station. No free Breakfast here over priced and most items even sodas average $5 this is crazy

Had the chance to stay for a couple of days and it was a great hotel! It was a standard Aloft but I feel like they go a little above and beyond. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The housekeepers were also very kind as well and unlike most Marriott properties these days, they do not require you to request that your room is cleaned. It actually took me by surprise when I returned to my room and the bed was remade and the room was clean. I was also very impressed by the gym- the treadmill to be precise! It was the first time I've ever worked out in this type of machine at a hotel. They gave you options if different locations in various countries. While walking, you passed by real people- some who greeted you as you passed them! Others moved aside to allow you to pass. It was a really cool experience. Outside of the standard pool table and lounge area, they had a plethora of games that you could play and check out. The worse thing about the girl is the parking because varying on what time you get there, the spaces may be a little distant from the door although it wasn't a huge inconvenience for me because I try to get my steps anyway. The people were very friendly and courteous- even despite being able to accommodate a late check out request.
